Goodbye Remund fam!!

Our dear friends the Remunds are moving to Boise. I met Abby right after her oldest Grant was born (Evelyn was 18 months old) and we became fast friends. She is dear to me, as is her whole family (4 boys!). Matthew and her son Parker are close and I am grateful they have grown up together. I will miss her/them terribly but thankful that I can see her/them when I go visit my sister!

We had a big good bye party for them tonight and enjoy a final bible study family meal together.

These boys have grown up together!

Oh, Andrew... you're the best!
We love you Frank and Abby!

I will cherish these times and these faces forever!

We love you Remund family!!

Last Day of School!!

We made it to the last day!!!

Evelyn and Matthew have both had great years at school, working hard, getting straight A's and being great friends to those around them. We couldn't be more proud of them!

Here are some random and silly shots from this afternoon.

Goodness I love them! Yay for summer break!

Greg Graduates!

My nephew Greg graduated from high school tonight. Doug's brother's youngest, he is smart, kind, and hard working. He is an eagle scout and gives the best hugs.

The cousins.. love them so much!

Greg and his girlfriend are moving to Tennessee in a few weeks to spread their wings. I will miss him tremendously and look forward to seeing him around the holidays!

Congrats, Gregory Daniel... I love you!

Starlight Run

Matthew and his friend Hadley decided to run in the Starlight Run this year! We met Hads and her mom at the MAX station this afternoon and headed downtown to the event. It was Hadley's first 5K and Matthew's second, and they stuck together and had the BEST time. Molly (Hadley's mom) and I had fun chatting and watching the runners come it, then cheered wildly when our kid's crossed the finish line, tired but happy.

Before the race smiles (and jitters)
In the sea of runners waiting to start..
My friend Deb took this shot of our boy along the route and got a smile!!

All finished!

We were so proud of them and grateful that they are such good friends and running buddies!

We tried to find food afterwards but the food places were either closed or had a huge line...ugh.. so we just headed home. Matthew and I hit up McDonalds once we got off the train, tho...haha.

A fun afternoon/evening with/for Matthew for sure!
