Snow!

We woke up to snow on Sunday!! It was a pleasant surprise for sure!

We took a family walk in the snow

We made a new game with ping pong... a round robin type of style. It was hilarious and exhausting... and I know we will play this a lot in the future!

It started snowing again after dark and the kids REALLY wanted to go out and play. So we did! 😊

The snow only lasted a couple of days but we enjoyed it while it lasted!

Christmas 2021

 Merry Christmas!

We have had a lovely couple of day celebrating.

Yesterday afternoon we went to mom and Doug's and spent Christmas Eve with them and the Jeubs. It was so good to be together again after missing it last year.

Grandpa's dip. One of the best things you will ever eat!

Matthew wanted to wear a tie to be more festive. Love him!

Cousins!! Love these faces so much!

Cole loving on anxious Sydney
My lovely niece Regan... who is WAY taller than me!

We did church online again this year and it was a lovely service.

Mom and Doug's house was beautifully decorated as usual.

We got home, got cozy, and watched "The Santa Clause"

Early morning by the tree waiting for the kids to wake up.

Evelyn in her new sweater and with her new mirror.
The kids were happy with their "loot"

Doug's aunt Marty and his brother's family came over for our annual Christmas afternoon together. Per the usual I didn't take any photos because I was enjoyed our time together so much.

Merry Merry Christmas!!

Christmas Lights

We checked out a new Christmas light display tonight and it did NOT disappoint!

Juliet was staying the night and it was fun to have her with us!

The display was at a church that did a live Nativity which had closed earlier that day. The animals were still there and we all enjoyed seeing them!

The reason for the season!

A fun activity on a beautiful and clear evening!

Morris Family Christmas

We headed to Dallas today to celebrate Christmas with Doug's family. It was a lovely day to be together!

We found the most beautiful rainbow on the way down!

We had a lovely lunch then we did our traditional "read the Christmas story" in a new and fun way. My mother-in-law typed out the story and cut it up into sections for all of us to ready.

Opening stockings is always a highlight!
This is Jaycee's first Morris family Christmas and we are so thankful Zach is going to marry her!

The kids played Catan. Evelyn and Matthew had never played and they enjoyed it.

We headed home with full hearts and  ended our day watching one of our favorite Christmas movies.

Elf is so good!!
