Things Pondered, Part 15

 F I F T E E N

So many emotions as I think about Evelyn and the lovely young lady she is becoming.

She is smart, a deep thinker, a creative soul and so, so funny.

She is a protective big sister and although Matthew drives her crazy at times, her love for him is fierce. She has had to take a little of a back seat to her brother the past few months as he has been struggling with the transition to middle school, but has (for the most part) been gracious and patient and kind.

She loves music, drawing, reading and watching Gilmore Girls.

She has an amazing group of friends and is a good friend in return.

She is driven with her studies and takes learning and her grades seriously.

She is trying to have her own "style" and enjoys doing her hair and trying new things.

We are so fortunate she is ours!💓

Evelyn's birthday was on Saturday, but celebrated her all weekend.

Friday night, Ellie and Amy came to spend the night. The girls made gingerbread houses and we incredibly silly.

Per her request, we had Chipoltle for dinner.

Evelyn requested gluten freen donut holes and fruit for breakfast, so that's what we did!

Love this fifteen year old!

After breakfast I took the girls to Dutch Bros for Evelyn's free drink and we headed to Hobby Lobby to look around.
It was a fun time with these three!

Sunday after church Evelyn and more friends met up at Chipoltle (yes, again 😂) for lunch.

Love these girls who have grown up together!

The girls wanted to go to the dollar store and had fun looking around.
 Silly birthday girl!

Monday I took Evelyn to take her permit test. Due to the busy weekend we had she didn't really review much for the test, and sadly didn't pass. She was sad but not concerned and when she retook it this afternoon she aced it!!

Happy girl!! She is looking forward to getting behind the wheel and learning how to drive.

Happy Birthday Evelyn... we love you more than words can say! I am so blessed to be your mom!💓
