We celebrated Matthew turning TWELVE this week!!
Not sure how our baby boy is 12 but here we are.
He is growing in both inches (he is now taller than me 😮 ) and in maturity, and continues to be smart, thoughtful, funny and kind.
Since his birthday was on Thursday this week, we made it a long weekend affair and had a fun time celebrating our boy.
It was a school day so we waited until evening to open gifts but we had them out to see in the morning.
Birthday cinnamon roll tradition continues..
He was super excited to get new wireless headphones! He's been wanting some for quite a while.
He requested big mac bites for dinner and banana splits for dessert
And when it's your birthday you get a large spray of whipped cream in your mouth 😂
We had Cannon over yesterday night to sleep over. The boys hadn't seen each other in a bit and it was so good to have them together again.
We had pizza, the boys played plenty of video games, and we all went for an evening walk to see the neighborhood Christmas lights.
Today we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch with some of Matthew's buddies to celebrate. He LOVES BWW and there was pleny of good food and good football consumed.
Matthew was certainly celebrated well this week and I hope he always knows how special he is and how much he is loved by so many!
