Silver Creek Falls

We took the kids to Silver Creek Falls for a hike today. They have never been. It was a lovely day together in a beautiful part of our state!

Not a lot of commentary below, just a photo journal of our day!

Me, having a hot flash, in the middle of our hike. Sigh... #menopauseprobs

The chipmunks were plentiful.. it is obvious they get fed a lot by people on the trail!

One of my favorite photos of the day!

We did it!! 8 miles!!
Ice cream on the way home to end our day.

Thankful to live near such lovely places to see!

4th of July

We had a rather quiet 4th of July this year, but it was a fun day nonetheless.

Our neighborhood had a small bike parade that Matthew and Doug participated in. It was a good turnout and a good time with our awesome neighbors.

After the bike ride, the kids had some fun pool time.

We ended our day with fireworks on the patio, one of the kids' favorite thing to do!

Happy Birthday America!

Idaho or Bust

We just returned home from our annual "Mom and the kids go see Aunt Michelle" trip, and we had the BEST time! We are always sad to leave Doug behind but thankful for time in Idaho with my sister and her fam.

Here's a photo recap of our trip!

These two. Such great travelers and so much fun!

A stop in Dayton for gas and some ice cream. It was a lot warmer as we headed east!

So happy to see his aunt!!

...and Stella!
She's such a sweet girl!!

S'mores!
These two are pretty amazing!
Beautiful sunset!

We had some girls time and all got our toes done!
Playing a game out on the porch and Stella wanted to keep an eye on us.haha!
Evening walk...

...followed by a lovely time around the fire pit.

Morning Stella snuggles.

Took Stella to walk along the river and to play a little bit at the park. Such a pretty morning!

That afternoon we headed to the aquatic park. We come here every time we visit and always have the best time. Yesterday did not disappoint!

Evelyn won the race down the slides... she was excited can you tell? :)

When did they get so big? They had no fear of anything!

Wave pool vibes...
Best. Cousin (niece). Ever!!!

We were sad to leave but had a quick drive home without any issues. We were all excited to see Doug. And Bodie.

He, of course, was not as excited to see us. HA!!

Thankful for such a wonderful time in Idaho!
