Fir Grove does one big fundraiser per year... the Fun Run. It is one of Matthew's favorite days of the school year.
Sadly due to COVID and school not being at school, things had to be done differently this year. I am so thankful for our school's PTO for being flexible and still allowing this to happen. The kids were encouraged to get donations and then they would run for 20 minutes TODAY instead of at school. Matthew got over $450 in donations and was super excited to run! He and his friend Cannon (our neighbor and a family in our COVID bubble) made a plan to run together and to not only run for 20 minutes but for as long as they could.
The school gave each kid a bib to wear while running..a special touch.

These two ended up running for 45 minutes!!
So proud of both of them for helping to raise over $13,000 for our amazing little school!
