First Day of School

 Our (too short) summer has come to an end... and here we are at the start of another school year. 

Evelyn is a junior and her high school years are continuing to fly by. She was ready to start school and see her friends... and drove to school with Ellie. Such a surreal feeling to watch your child drive off to school.. withOUT you! But she is ready and capable, and I am so proud of the young lady she is becoming. I have no doubt she will crush junior year!

My baby started his LAST year of middle school.. and I am a little unwell about it. 

He has grown so much ove the past year, in so many ways, and is ready to take on this year. I know it will be his best year of middle school. 

Here's to a great school year ahead! Go get'em, kids!!

Maisie Peters

One of Evelyn's favorite artists, Maisie Peters, was in town for a concert tonight at the Roseland Theater. She was so excited and asked if I would go with her.. of course I said YES!! I am definitely not in her primary age demographic but I still enjoy her music.

Realizing that it is a STANDING ONLY concert. No seat.. just a mosh pit. It's fine. Everything is fine. HA!

 My feet (my whole body actually) was so tired after the show, but to watch Evelyn be in her element and thoroughly enjoying herself made it all worth it!!

Chase and Julia's Wedding

We had SO much fun yesterday celebrating the wedding of my cousin Chase and his new wife Julia. They have been together for years and we all have been waiting for this day. It was a great day of family and celebration.

Any time I get to see my niece is the BEST time! Love her so..
