Neither Matthew or Evelyn really love the sound or smell of fireworks and are a bit frightened by them, so Doug usually gets fairly tame ones for them to do. They still require hearing protection and still get nervous with the sparklers, but they really did have fun with it! :)
Today we headed out once again to Enchanted Forest, as we have done the past 4 or 5 years on the Fourth. And, once again, we all had a lovely time!
The pictures really speak for themselves... we had a super fun day. I know that the time will come when the kids don't want to go back to this place, but until then I will just keep being thankful that they still love it !! Happy Birthday America!
