There is a dirt bike track about a mile away from our house. This morning the kids and I rode our bikes there so the kids (mainly Matthew) could ride around.
He is a maniac on the course and LOVES it. Me... not so much!! I just watch and pray he doesn't crash!
They have a playground at the park as well and the kids enjoyed that as well.
From the park we rode to Shari's for breakfast. On the way, a car wasn't paying attention and almost hit Evelyn. It came so close that Evelyn actually had her hand ON the car to keep from falling over. :( It was super scary for her (and for me, too). The car that almost hit her drove off without even seeing if she was ok or anything! What was sweet was that 3 other cars who saw what happened stopped to see if she was ok and offer support to all of us. Once Evelyn calmed down we made it to Shari's. We decided to milkshakes to help make it all better. :)
It was a fun morning together and I am already getting sad about sending my two favorite kids to school in a few days!
