We just returned from a glorious week on the Oregon Coast. Our annual beach trip has always been special and this year was no different. Even though I couldn't do as much (more on that in a later post), our time was full of adventure, fun, and lots of laughs together. I have SO many pictures... get ready! :)
We started out toward the beach after church. First stop, lunch at Burger King... a must the past 3 years!
From there we drove thru Tillamook to visit the Cheese Factory. Always a fun stop!
We arrived at the beach to find lots of sunshine. The kids were ready to hit the sand the minute we checked into our condo!

The D River flows into the ocean right by our hotel. The kids enjoy playing in it due to its warmer water. After dinner we headed down to play... and boy, did they have the time!
One of MANY times he fell in. It's not that deep and the tide was coming in, so I knew he was fine, but I still was close. To , ya know, take pictures..haha!!
They both were soaked by the end of the evening!!

After all evening at the beach you would think they would fall asleep quickly. But no.. the giggling coming from their room was priceless and funny.. and lasted a long time! I think they were asleep by 9:30.. crazy kids!
