Bye Bye Birdie

Evelyn has had several amazing Sunday School teachers. Hannah is one of them. She was one of Evelyn's teachers for two years. She is a sweet, gentile soul who has a heart to serve. She also is a very accomplished actress and singer for her young age of 17.

Hannah had one of the lead roles in her school's spring production of "Bye Bye Birdie", and really wanted Evelyn to come (she know how much Evelyn loves being, shall we say, "dramatic"...haha!). Of course we got tickets and were excited about the show.

The play was a bit more "adult themed" than the other plays we have seen, but Evelyn did great and I think really enjoyed it, even if she didn't "get" some of it. Hannah was beautiful and gave a stellar performance as Rose Alverez. We both had a great time!
