My mom and her husband Doug are on a month long trip across the country in their RV to spend Christmas with Doug's kids in Virginia. We miss them terribly, but are using their trip to do a little geography lesson. Evelyn has a big map of the U.S. up in her room. Every night at bedtime, we show them on the map where Grandma and Grandpa Doug started the day and then where they ended the day. The kids think it so cool that they are traveling to so many states, and I think its cool that they are learning along the way, too!
Tonight the kids decided to make a lego motor home, "just like grandma's but bigger!", even including a fire pit! :) They made sure to have me send this pic along to my mom and Doug, who enjoyed it!
