Since we only had two full days, we decided to just spend all our time on the beach and forgo other road trips/sightseeing. That proved to be just perfect!

In the past we have gone 10 miles north to Gleneden Beach for the day, playing on the beach there and then have a picnic and have a fire in the fire pit there. Two years ago the kids (Matthew especially) started boycotting this trip, wanting to stay at "our" beach. We didn't fight that battle and just didn't go the past 2 years. After some pep talking, the kids agreed to go back. We had a great morning there and enjoyed a yummy lunch!!

We always do "movie night" one night and this year was "The Lego Movie"... our favorite of late. Nothing like watching a movie on a Murphy Bed...haha!
All day on the beach wore them out. They made it to the end but went to bed shortly afterward and were asleep in moments!
The most funny part of the day was when the wind blew some of our clothes off the balcony... but that entire story is one that we plan to keep to ourselves...haha!!
Thankful for another fun day!
