A Big Milestone

As of today, BOTH Evelyn and Matthew can ride their bikes WITHOUT training wheels!! It has been long in coming,  but they both finally did it. Evelyn has been riding for a while but has been lacking in confidence. Matthew just needed to work on balance and we knew he would get it. After spending a lot of time on their scooters this summer Matthew's balance improved a ton, and Evelyn seemed more comfortable on her bike each time she would get on. Today Doug told Matthew to go ride... and he DID... and proceeded to be on his bike for the next 2 hours, riding with his sister having the best time. I am sure there will be plenty of bike riding in the days and weeks to come, weather permitting!

A big milestone for my kids.. and I am so proud of them both!
